“Dreamboat is a word most associated with the glossy teen idols of the 1950s, when heartthrobs such as Elvis and James Dean graced countless girls’ magazine covers. These idealised visions of masculinity were stereotypical yet camp; alluring yet completely untouchable. Photographer Holly Falconer wondered how the word could be interpreted now – and sought out some modern 21st century dreamboats in London.”
