This project is a collaboration between photographer Holly Falconer and artist Kerry Hughes capturing Southend-on-Sea and its nearby towns, where Kerry grew up. Over the course of one summer they documented places and communities as they are now – with the knowledge that childhood nostalgia was shaping the narrative. Capturing people they struck up conversation with along the way, it is a visual diary of revisited memories.
